INTRODUCTION

To develop a leading-edge financial services sector workforce to support Singapore as an international financial centre, IBF has been working with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) to assemble a group of training and assessment providers to conduct training programmes that will cover the entire financial services industry. These training providers – also known as Lead Providers – will provide FICS-accredited training and assessment programmes for financial institutions and practitioners. The move allows IBF to leverage on the individual strengths of each Lead Provider. The appointment of these Lead Providers was officially announced on the 19th July 2007.
