Notice - CMFAS Module 2: Rules and Regulations for Trading in Futures Contract

Please note that with effect from 11 August 2010, the current Module 2 examination would be renamed as Module 2A: Rules and Regulations for Trading in Futures Contracts (for members of the Singapore Exchange Derivatives Trading Limited ("SGX-DT")). The content of the examination and the version of the study guide remains unchanged until further notice.

Notice - CMFAS Module 2B: Rules and Regulations for Trading in Futures Contract (for members of the Singapore Mercantile Exchange ("SMX"))

The Institute of  Banking & Finance will accept examination registration for Module 2B from 23 August 2010 and the examination will commence on 21 September 2010.

Notice - CMFAS Exam Registration (Updated)
1. With effect from 1 June 2010, member institutions will be able to register their staff (at member's examination rate) in either of the following ways:

(a) Group online registration via the Corporate login account (as per the current procedure);

(b) Individual online registration by the staff concerned. Any individual that takes this option will need to provide the Corporate User ID (which he/she may obtain from the institution) and his/her unique corporate email address as part of the registration process.

2. An individual (whether a staff of a member institution or otherwise) who chooses to register (a) online without a Corporate User ID or (b) at IBF's examination registration counter, will pay non-member examination rate.

Notice - CMFAS Module 10
The Institute of  Banking & Finance will be releasing the Study Guide for Module 10 on 19 March 2009 and the examinations will commence on 16 April 2009. Candidates may register for the examination from 19 March 2009 onwards, and copies of the Study Guide are available from the Institute of Banking & Finance.

Notice - UPDATE IN BLUE BOOK EXAMINATION - Examination on Treasury Activities (ETA)
With effect from 3 February 2009, all candidates for the ETA examination will be tested based on the updated & released January 2007 version of The Singapore Guide to Conduct & Market Practices for Treasury Activities.

NOTICE
We would like to inform all candidates that there would be Stricter Access Control to tighten security in MAS Building. Apart from the usual signing-in at the security counter, visitors are required to leave their identification documents (with photographs) with the MAS Security until the security pass is returned.

As it is also a requirement for all candidates to bring their current ID cards/passports/driving licenses for identity check and verification during the examinations, candidates are therefore required to bring with them 2 pieces of identification documents.
