Assistant Vice President, Financial Reporting

Principal Accountabilities
• Preparation and analysis of financial reports to be submitted to the Head Office.
• Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards.
• Prepare user specifications for system enhancements to meet changes in Group requirements and participate in user acceptance tests for financial system upgrades or projects.
• Manage and develop staff.

 

Experience/Skills required
• At least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional qualification in Finance / Accountancy / Banking with 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong accounting background and knowledge of accounting standards.
• Good analytical skills, highly numerate and with a keen eye for detail to manage the manual layer in reporting process.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• An aptitude for systems-based work.
