This role reports to SVP, Procurement and is based at The Comtech.

You are responsible for:
- Overseeing the accounts payable function migrated to GSC, address day-to-day issues; monitor GSC’s performance and PLA compliance.
- Leading & supervising local resources to manage residual non-migrate able tasks.
- Tracking & analysing performance statistics to recommend improvements.
- Reviewing process change requests received from business areas / GSC and recommend endorsement / counter proposals.
- Assisting Line Manager to conduct quality checks on processed transactions, testing of SOX processes to detect deficiencies in key controls defined.
- Maintaining HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators and to include measurement and recording of breaches of internal controls.
- Working on ad-hoc tasks / projects assigned by Line Manager.

You should possess:
- 3 to 6 years' finance experience, preferably with knowledge of accounting and/or maintenance of financial system.
- Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
- Organised, possess good interpersonal & communication skills.
- Analytical and numerate skills, with a keen eye for details.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Aptitude and inclination for computer/system related work.
