Seamus Toal is the Chief Risk Officer for Asia Pacific and is based in Singapore. He is a member of the Risk Executive Committee and Regional Governance Board and reports directly to the Chief Risk Officer who is a member of the Deutsche Bank AG Management Board.

Seamus has more than 27 years of experience in the banking industry. He re-joined Deutsche Bank in his current role at the beginning of 2017 having spent 4 years at DBS Bank. Prior to returning to Deutsche Bank, Seamus held the position of Deputy Chief Risk Officer and Group Head of Credit Risk for DBS Bank.

Preceding DBS, Seamus spent 13 years with Deutsche Bank and prior to that with NatWest Bank and NatWest Markets. Seamus has a deep understanding of the region, having lived and worked in APAC for a number of years, and he brings global knowledge and experience having lived and worked in Europe, and the USA. During his career he has covered many product areas across Institutional Risk, including Commodities, Leveraged Finance, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Institutions, Traded Assets, Corporate and Credit Trading in both Developed and Emerging Markets. In addition he has held roles where he was responsible for other key credit areas including Wealth Management, Consumer and Small Medium Enterprises.
