Yan Hann joined DBS Bank, Singapore, in May 2010 as Regional Product Manager-cum-Trainer for DBS Bank Wealth Management. Between Feb 2011 and Jul 2012, he also led the Product Due Diligence function across the Bank's wealth management business.

Yan Hann has more than 20 years of experience in the Private Banking industry. He started his Private Banking career at Chase Manhattan Bank in 1990, followed by 13 years as a Relationship Manager, managing wealth for Indonesian clients at HSBC Private Bank and Merrill Lynch's Private Client Group. He was then appointed Head of Investment Advisory at OCBC Bank's Private Banking Department. Prior to joining DBS Bank, he was the Head of Private Banking (South East Asia) at AIG Private Bank.

In 2005, Yan Hann was appointed to the Financial Industry Competency Standards (FICS) Accreditation Advisory Panel, and in 2011, he was appointed to the Client Advisor Competency Standards (CACS) Assessment Board, both established by Singapore's Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) to raise the general competency standard of Singapore's Private Banking industry. He was also a frequent presenter at various Private Banking and Hedge Fund industry conferences.

Yan Hann graduated from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore with a Bachelor degree in Accountancy (2nd Upper Honours). He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 1993, and conferred as an IBF Fellow in 2014.
