His break in maritime finance came in 1995 when he joined the Ship Finance Department in DNB as Senior Relationship Manager covering clients in Asia. He re-joined DBS in 2003 as Team Head/Maritime & Logistics and rose to be Head of Transport & Logistics Department in 2005. He was conferred the IBF Fellow award in 2016 by the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore (IBF). The IBF Fellow title recognises industry veterans who exemplify thought leadership and commitment to industry development.
