Biography

Mrs Christine Ong is the Chief Executive Officer, Wealth Management Singapore in UBS Wealth Management.

Mrs Ong has held various senior management positions since joining UBS in 1992. Prior to her current role, she held senior management positions including Regional Market Manager for Taiwan, Country Head, UBS Singapore, and Head of Business Management and Market Strategy & Development, Asia Pacific. She also held positions in Wealth Management Operations, Credit Control and Risk Management.

Prior to joining UBS, Mrs Ong was the Vice President & Head of Consumer Credit Policy & Operations Department of Citibank. She started her career in the audit department of Price Waterhouse and spent several years working with multi-national corporations.

Mrs Ong maintains an active involvement in leading charitable initiatives in the areas of education and community regeneration in the region. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Centre for Asian Philanthropy, and actively mentors emerging leaders as a founding mentor of the Young Women Leadership Connection.

Mrs Ong graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Singapore, and is married with three children.
