​Joseph is CEO of SooChow Securities CSSD (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a licensed fund manager in Singapore that is 75% owned by SooChow Securities Co Ltd and 25% by China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Co. Ltd. He is also a non executive director of China Reform Overseas Management Co Ltd & China Reform SooChow Overseas Holdings Limited. In addition, he is an Independent Non-Executive Director of 3 SGX main-board listed companies.

He has more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry and had held senior roles with global financial institutions like JP Morgan; UBS AG; Standard Chartered Bank etc.

He has been actively contributing to the development of the industry having first served in the inaugural FICS Wealth Management committee in 2006/07. He is currently the President of Financial Planning Association of Singapore (FPAS) that accredit financial advisers with the globally recognized Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification. FPAS aims to lift professionalism of financial advisers and promote financial literacy to Singaporeans.

Joseph is a Fellow of Singapore University of Social Science and also an adjunct lecturer with Kaplan. In addition, he is the President of University Of New South Wales (UNSW) Alumni Association Singapore and Vice President of Australian Alumni Singapore.

Joseph graduated with a Master Of Commerce and a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW. He is a CPA with CPA Australia and a CFP.
