​Mr Ho is the Head of Group Operational Risk Management at UOB and is a member of several risk committees of the Group. His expertise includes risk and governance in global markets, wholesale, investment and retail banking. He oversees all processes that form UOB's operational risk governance structure.

He leads the implementation and maintenance of the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system, integrating the "Three Lines of Defence" model of risk management and control. UOB is the first Singapore bank to have a GRC system fully implemented. The system provides greater transparency and improves productivity and efficiency in the areas of audit, compliance and operational risk, meeting the needs of an evolving financial landscape in a heightened regulatory environment.

Mr Ho regularly participates in consultations and discussions with industry regulators and associations. He is also called upon to speak at industry forums organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, The Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) and various risk associations. In addition, Mr Ho was among the panel of experts for an academic research project on US risk disclosure regulations, conducted by the faculty at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina.

From July 2015 to June 2017, he was the Chairman of the Outsourcing Advisory Committee of ABS where he provided guidance and advisory to member banks, outsourced service providers and external auditors. Mr Ho and his team also refined the ABS Guidelines on Outsourcing for industry implementation.

Mr Ho is a seasoned banking professional with more than 25 years of experience gained from positions held at a number of international financial institutions.
