​Eddie Gan is Managing Director and Singapore Market Head at UBS Wealth Management Singapore. He joined UBS in 2006 as the Singapore Country Team Head and has been instrumental in building the strong growth in the Singapore market at UBS Singapore.

Eddie is an industry veteran with 30 years of extensive experience in banking and finance. He started his career as a corporate banker in UOB Singapore covering the real estate sector. After 6 years, he then moved on into the Private Banking arena and held various stints as a relationship manager and subsequently team leader at National Bank of Canada (Vancouver), ANZ Bank and DBS Private Bank before moving on to UBS Singapore. Throughout his private banking career, he has been responsible for the coverage of clients in the North Asia and ASEAN regions.

Eddie has been actively involved as a member of the IBF Private Banking Industry Workgroup for the last few years and has participated as a panel member in IBF-organized industry forums.

Eddie has a Master of Business Administration in accounting from the University of British Columbia, Canada, and a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Banking and Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, USA.
