​Mr Ronny Chng is the Head of Corporate Banking Overseas at UOB, overseeing the Bank's corporate banking business in 19 countries and territories.

Mr Chng has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, particularly in corporate and investment banking. He joined UOB's Group Investment Banking team in 2008 and was responsible for the fundraising product groups, comprising debt capital markets (including loan syndication and fixed income), equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and mezzanine finance.

He is a member of the Institute of Banking & Finance's (IBF) Corporate Banking Committee and is also a non-executive and non-independent board director of UOB Kay Hian Limited. He is a former Chairman of the Asia Pacific Loan Markets Association, Singapore Branch.

Prior to joining UOB, he was in the Asia Pacific loan syndicate and sales team within the debt capital markets group at a foreign bank, with stints in both Hong Kong and Singapore.

Mr Chng graduated from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore with Master of Business and Bachelor of Business (Financial Analysis) degrees.​
