"Banking is a people business – trust and integrity are essential. Legal and Compliance teams play an important role as risk guardians and trusted advisers in the development of a progressive and robust financial eco-system."

Lyn Lee heads a team that provides legal, advisory, transactional and documentation support to the treasury, capital markets and corporate finance business divisions in the OCBC Bank on a global basis.

Prior to joining OCBC Bank, Lyn was a senior legal counsel supporting the Treasury and Markets Department at DBS Bank for 6 years. She had previously practiced at the law firms of Allen & Gledhill and Rajah & Tann, specialising in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions. She also worked in the General Counsel Office of the Monetary Authority of Singapore ("MAS"), providing legal advisory support on regulatory matters.

Lyn is co-Chair of the ISDA Legal and Regulatory Committee (South Asia) since June 2016. Monthly meetings are held to discuss the latest industry challenges and issues amongst the APAC ISDA members (including buy side and sell side industry participants). She has spoken at more than 10 ISDA Conferences in the past 6 years, including the MAS ISDA Symposium held in November 2017 on "The Asia-Pacific Perspective on the Impact of Global Regulatory Reform".

Lyn participates actively in SFEMC and EMTA working committees and has attended discussion groups on legal reforms organised by Singapore Academy of Law.

She has been appointed as a director of DDTC Data Repository (Singapore) Pte Ltd since August 2018, the licensed trade repository regulated by MAS.

Lyn is passionate about mentoring and supporting the next generation of legal and compliance colleagues in their professional and personal development. She is part of OCBC Group's mentoring programme and sits on OCBC Scholarship Panel.
