Biography

Ser Kee is the Chief Actuary and Appointed Actuary of AIA Singapore.  She heads the actuarial functions which includes pricing of insurance, actuarial financial reporting, actuarial valuation, capital management, analysis for asset and liability management, insurance experience analysis and reinsurance. 

She is also the convenor of the Life Insurance Associations' (LIA) Actuarial subcommittee since 2017, co-convenor of the LIA IFRS 17 taskforce for the new IFRS 17 accounting standards, and deputy convenor of the LIA Par fund taskforce.

Ser Kee joined AIA Singapore in 2016 and has close to 25 years of experience in the life insurance industry. She started her career with Cologne Re, Singapore branch. She later joined Manulife, taking on various actuarial and financial roles in the Hong Kong, China, Cambodia businesses as well as the Asia Regional office.  

She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and the Singapore Actuarial Society, and holds a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) degree from King's College London, UK.
