Dr. David Wong is the independent non-executive director of the Fraser Hospitality Trust Limited in Singapore. He holds advisory positions in many other corporations in the Greater China region. He is the founding Chairman of Halftime Limited in Hong Kong; with the mission to serve high capacity leaders in transiting from their first-half success in life into their second-half significance. David is a public speaker, trainer and coach for leaders, teams and organizations. He focuses on the principles and philosophy of leadership transformation and fruitful living. “Doing Good While Doing Well.”

David was the Deputy Chief Executive of the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Group from till July 2013, with overall responsibility for the financial market businesses which include Global Markets, Global Transaction Banking, Investment Management, Insurance, Asset Management and other capital market-related businesses. He was also a Director of BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited. Prior to this, David was the Corporate Executive Vice President and Country Executive of ABN AMRO Bank (“ABN”) and was responsible for ABN’s overall banking operations in South East Asia. He was also designated to key posts in the USA, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong. David has spent over 30 years in the banking sector and has extensive knowledge and experience in the financial markets.
Dr. Wong served as Board Member of the Civil Service College and the Energy Market Authority of Singapore, and Customer Advisory Board Member of Thomson Reuters. Currently, he is the Finance Management Committee Member of the HK Management Association in Hong Kong. He received the IBF Distinguished Fellow award from the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore, in recognition for his contribution to the financial industry.

He has a Doctoral degree in Transformational Leadership from the Bethel Bible Seminary, a Master of Science degree in Investment Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Singapore
