Biography

Yong Ngee is the Chief Executive Officer and one of the founding partners of Tahan Capital Management, with an established career in trading, investment and senior management. Prior to Tahan Capital Management, he spent 16 years at UBS where he was last Managing Director, the Head of GEM FICC and a member of the APAC and GEM FICC Executive Committee, responsible for capital commitment, risk management and all operational and control matters, while directly managed proprietary trading risk and led a large team of traders. 

As CEO and founding partner of Tahan Capital Management, Yong Ngee is ultimately responsible for its capital allocation, portfolio construction and risk management, and overall business development and operation. 

Yong Ngee graduated from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore with a Bachelor of Business degree with honours and has a Masters degree in applied finance from Macquarie University Sydney, Australia. 

He currently sits on the board of directors of Seatown Holdings and Changi Airports International, and is a member of the investment committee for Wah Hin and National Council for Social Services, Singapore. He is also a member of the Nanyang Business School's Alumni Advisory Board. He is a recipient of Friends of MSF Award 2019 and IBF Fellow Award 2020.
