Biography

Priscilla is Head, Transaction Banking, Singapore and ASEAN cluster markets, and Head, Implementation and Business Account Management, ASEAN, Transaction Banking of Standard Chartered Bank. She is responsible for leading and driving the overall strategy of the Transaction Banking business in Singapore and the ASEAN cluster markets, while leading the implementation and business account management for Transaction Banking in ASEAN. Priscilla is also a member of the Singapore Country Management Team. 

Since Priscilla joined Standard Chartered in 2002, she has held increasingly senior positions. Prior to her current role, she was Head of Financial Institutions Singapore, covering a wide range of client segments from sovereigns, banks, intermediaries, and investors, to opportunity funds clients and investment houses.   Throughout her career with the Bank, Priscilla has led various initiatives to deliver the unique footprint of the Bank. These initiatives include launching the Fund Services business, steering the Securities Services Sales business for Southeast Asia and originating numerous landmark transactions for the Bank’s Broker Dealers and Sovereign Client segments. 

Before joining Standard Chartered, Priscilla worked in the Global Securities Services business of Deutsche Bank. During her three-year tenure, she established the infrastructure and product framework to build up its investors platform across Asia. Her extensive knowledge of the institutional and private trust businesses also helped Priscilla develop a broad perspective on corporate governance.

Priscilla is a member of the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore (IBF) Corporate Banking Work Group and has contributed practical insights to the Skills Framework for Financial Services, which provides key information on the sector, career pathways, job roles, skills and training programmes. A strong advocate of digitalisation in the financial industry, Priscilla has also been actively involved in the development of several industry-wide initiatives including the Networked Trade Platform (NTP) and Corporate PayNow.

Priscilla holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Merit) in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. She is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and an alumna of the Asian Financial Leaders Programme (AFLP) jointly developed by Temasek Management Services and Singapore Management University.
