Elaine Lam has more than 20 years of experience in corporate banking. In her current role as Head of Global Corporate Banking in OCBC, Elaine is responsible for managing large corporate relationships in various industries and sectors. This includes the public sector, conglomerates, large local corporates, regional corporates and multi-national corporates in industries including utilities, infrastructure, natural resources, telecommunications, media, technology, oil & gas, marine, transportation (air, sea and land), logistics and consumer products.

Prior to joining OCBC Bank in 2001, Elaine held various Corporate Banking (Relationship Management) positions in ABN AMRO Bank for more than 6 years. Elaine started her career in financial services with Price Waterhouse after graduating with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (Non-practising) and also attended the Executive Development Programme at Wharton Business School in 2007.

In addition to her role in OCBC, Elaine also serves in the Corporate Banking Sub-Committee, The Institute of Banking and Finance Corporate Banking Working Group. Elaine was conferred the designation of IBF Fellow in the segment of Corporate Banking (Relationship Management) by the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore in 2015.
