Biography

Jullie Kan is a Managing Director and Vice Chairman for Private Banking Southeast Asia. In this role, Ms. Kan provides senior client coverage of Ultra High Net Worth and Key Clients across the key Southeast Asia markets and especially Malaysia, and acts as Senior Advisor on talent development matters including recruitment, on-boarding and mentoring of senior banking talent across Southeast Asia.

Prior to this role, Ms. Kan was the Market Leader for Malaysia for Private Banking Asia Pacific, based in Singapore from July 1998 until January 2013.

Ms Kan joined Credit Suisse in July 1998 as a Member of Senior Management taking charge of the Private Banking business for Malaysia and served as Market Leader for Singapore between June 2006 and September 2008. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, she worked for 23 years at Deutsche Bank in a number of senior positions, including Market Head of Malaysia Private Banking and Head of Financial Institutions in Malaysia. She also served as a member of the Credit Committee and Asset & Liability Committee at Deutsche Bank Malaysia. Jullie was a long-standing member of Deutsche Bank Malaysia's senior management team.

Ms Kan has over 39 years of experience in the banking industry. On 25 November 2014, Ms Kan was conferred the designation of IBF Fellow for Wealth Management by the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore
