Biography

Mr Linus Goh is Head of Global Commercial Banking at OCBC Bank. In this capacity, he has global responsibilities for the bank's commercial and institutional banking businesses, managing customer relationships with SMEs, regional enterprises and financial institutions across the OCBC network. He also oversees Global Transaction Banking which provides cash management, trade finance and working capital solutions to businesses.

Mr Goh joined OCBC Bank in April 2004 as Executive Vice President and Head of International. In August 2008, he was appointed Global Head of Enterprise Banking and Financial Institutions, before assuming his current responsibilities in April 2012.

Mr Goh has over 28 years of banking experience, including 17 years at Citibank N.A. Singapore, where he held several senior management positions overseeing corporate banking, financial institutions, e-business and transaction banking. His last position at Citibank prior to joining OCBC Bank was Managing Director and Group Head for Global Transaction Banking.

Mr Goh presently serves as a board member of the Singapore Totalisator Board and of the Growth Enterprise Fund. He is a member of the Singapore Capital Markets Committee under the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Pro-Enterprise Panel under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and the SME Committee under the Singapore Business Federation where he chairs the sub-committee on SME Financing. Mr Goh also serves as Chairman of the Permanent Committee on Finance, Investment and Trade under the ASEAN Banking Council. Mr Goh holds a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy) with Honours from the National University of Singapore.
