Prerequisites

Completed IBF Standards: Trust Administration / Wealth and Estate Planning (Level 1) programme or show proof of competency at Level 1orPossess minimum 3 years of relevant experience in trust administration or a related field of work

  • Perform a managerial role in trust administration, focusing on addressing client needs related to implementing and administering trust and estate planning structures

Competencies

Industry Knowledge and Awareness

Acquire and apply knowledge of wealth planning industry, applicable laws and regulations and key service offering

Wealth and Estate Planning Advice

Provide suitable wealth and estate planning recommendation

Client Acquisition, On-boarding and on-going Due Diligence

Perform client acquisition and on-boarding processes and on-going AML/KYC due diligence

Administration

Handle the management and administration of the proposed wealth and estate planning solution, on-going monitoring of the trust portfolio and client servicing activities.

Managerial Oversight

Demonstrate and apply understanding of the wealth planning company’s management and governance and develop control system to ensure compliance to organisation’s policies and procedures and wealth planning laws and regulations
