Biography
Liauw Lee Jiat is the Chief Product Officer of Prudential Singapore, a role she assumed in February 2026. She leads the end-to-end product value chain, overseeing Product Proposition, Product Implementation, and Product Pricing to deliver customer-centric, competitive, and financially sustainable solutions for the Singapore market.
Since joining Prudential in 2013, Lee Jiat has held leadership roles across Finance, Distribution Compensation, Business Finance, Actuarial, and Product functions. Her career reflects a strong commitment to continuous learning and growth, having successfully navigated transitions from actuarial leadership into finance and subsequently product management. These experiences have equipped her with a broad perspective that combines technical expertise, commercial acumen, and customer insights. Prior to her current role, Lee Jiat served as Prudential Singapore's Chief Actuary and Appointed Actuary. With more than 20 years of experience in actuarial, finance, and product leadership, she has also held senior positions at Aviva and Great Eastern Life.
A qualified actuary, Lee Jiat holds a Bachelor of Business (Actuarial Science) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She believes that continuous learning is essential in a rapidly evolving industry and that building diverse experiences enables individuals to create greater value for customers, organisations, and the broader financial services sector.
