Group Head of Asset Management and CEO, Clifford Capital Asset Management (CCAM)

Biography

A senior leader in asset management with nearly 30 years of experience, Lily is Clifford Capital’s Group Head of Asset Management and CEO of Clifford Capital Asset Management in October 2025. In her role, she spearheads the strategic growth and innovation of the asset management business.

Lily brings with her a track record of driving strategic regional expansion and growth as well as innovations across Asia Pacific. Prior to Clifford Capital, she was the Head of South Asia and CEO of Schroders Singapore, where she led growth initiatives, joint ventures, and partnerships; delivering strong asset growth across the region. She represented Schroders and managed the overall relationships with its India Axis JV and the Singapore Nippon Life JV, serving as their board member.

Lily joined Schroders in 2008 as Head of Institutional, Southeast Asia, and advanced through various leadership roles:

  • 2017: Head of Distribution, Southeast Asia – overseeing institutional and intermediary strategy
  • 2019: Head of Institutional, Asia Pacific – driving regional growth strategy with a focus on sustainability, solutions, and private assets
  • 2020–2021: Deputy CEO, then CEO of Schroders Singapore

Earlier in her career, Lily was with the GIC (1998–2004), managing external fund managers research and selection in public markets. She later joined Mercer Investment Consulting as Senior Manager Research Consultant, leading Asia ex-Japan equities and Asian fixed income manager research, and chairing the APAC rating review committee.

Lily is a transformative leader in the finance industry, driving strategic innovation across sustainability, digitalisation, and talent development. She served on Schroders APAC Exco and held key governance roles as Chair of Schroders Singapore Board/Exco and Commissioner of Schroders Indonesia Board. As a convening Exco member of the Singapore Sustainable Finance Association (SSFA), she steered Schroders’ contributions to the Transition Finance workstream as one of its co-leads. At the Investment Management Association of Singapore (IMAS), Lily championed thought leadership and industry-wide training initiatives in sustainable investing, solutions innovation, and digital transformation. As a member of the Financial Sector Tripartite Committee, co-chaired by MAS and NTUC, she contributes to national reviews on job transformation, skills roadmaps, and future capabilities for Singapore’s financial sector.

Lily holds a Bachelor of Science from the National University of Singapore and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
