Roland Ho

Global Head of ALM, Global Markets, OCBC

Biography

Roland Ho is OCBC's Global Head of ALM (Global Markets), responsible for the group's liquidity management, interest rates and securities portfolio management since 2022.

He has close to 20 years of experience in Markets business, spanning ALM, Sales and Trading.  Prior to his current role, he was appointed Head of Treasury of OCBC HK, and Executive Officer, Section 72B Manager and Head of Treasury of OCBC London, responsible for the full spectrum of Markets activities. In between his stints in HK and London, he headed the Portfolio Investment Unit/ALM in Singapore, responsible for the bank's reserve and credit portfolios. 

Roland is a member of the Institute of Banking & Finance Singapore (IBF) Capital & Financial Markets Industry Workgroup and the ASIFMA Secured Funding Markets Committee.  Through these platforms, he provides professional insights and guidance on key industry-related issues to promote and develop the financial markets in Singapore. He also serves on the Financial Markets Regulatory Practices (FMRP) Exam Industry Panel and Exams Board, which provide guidance and advice to IBF to ensure the continued relevance, practicality of the FMRP exams, and alignment with industry developments.

Roland graduated with a Bachelor of Business (First Class) from Nanyang Business School, and is a CFA charter holder.
