Biography

Tenaz Aga is the Head of Citi Private Bank’s Singapore Investment Center, driving strategic growth and operational excellence across one of the Private Bank’s key regional hubs. She champions transformative initiatives that enhance client experience, boost productivity, and ensure rigorous compliance in a complex regulatory environment.

With 25 years at Citi in London and Singapore, Tenaz has built a uniquely broad expertise spanning Private Banking, Internal Audit, and Consumer Banking. Her experience includes roles in Marketing, Product Management, Business Audit, Business Risk & Controls, and the Chief Operating Office. She has also represented the Consumer Wealth business at Citibank Singapore Limited’s Board and Audit Committee meetings.

A committed mentor and advocate for talent development, Tenaz has coached and guided numerous professionals, with a strong focus on empowering the next generation of leaders. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), underscoring her dedication to lifelong learning and professional excellence.

Beyond Citi, Tenaz serves on the Institute of Banking & Finance (IBF) Singapore Private Banking & Family Office Working Group, and as an Exam Board Member for the Client Advisor Competency Standards. She is committed to raising the competency standards of appointed representatives and building a culture of high ethical standards in the financial services industry.
