Biography
Usman is a global banking executive with 20+ years of leadership experience across product and sales in wealth and retail banking. He currently leads Standard Chartered Bank’s Global & Singapore Deposits, Mortgages & Payments business, delivering record net new money for the franchise through product innovation, accelerated digital sales, and data-driven pricing.
He has spearheaded several industry leading initiatives to advance the Smart Nation agenda for Singapore and has been appointed as a board director for Singapore Payments Network (SPaN), the entity governing all national payment schemes.
Usman is a Fulbright Scholar with an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
