IBF takes a serious view towards training providers who have breached IBF’s terms and conditions or abused IBF-administered schemes as well as any misconduct by IBF staff. If you are aware of any of such wrongdoing, we encourage you to step forward and report it to us. 

Examples of breaches or abuse of IBF-administered schemes:

  • Trainees were paid to attend IBF-accredited courses;
  • Assessment answers were provided to trainees for IBF-accredited courses; or
  • Training providers in cahoots with trainer(s) and/or trainee(s) to conduct “fake” lessons to claim IBF funding

Examples of IBF staff misconduct:

  • Corruption or bribery; or
  • Fraud or other types of criminal behaviour

  • Documentary evidence to support the misconduct (if any)
  • Explanation of how and when you became aware of the misconduct

Your identity and all information provided by you will be treated with the strictest confidence practicable under the laws of Singapore. However, the information that you have provided may be disclosed in special circumstances such as when it is required by the Court, police or other relevant enforcement agencies conducting related investigation.

We will review the information provided by you and initiate an investigation on the alleged individual/entity if we assess that there is a clear breach of conduct or abuse of IBF-administered schemes by the alleged individual/entity. Due to sensitivity of the issue, we will not be disclosing to you the status or outcome of our investigation.
