IBF invites eligible entities to apply for IBF Membership and join a community committed to financial industry excellence. (Note: Institutions need NOT apply for IBF Membership in order to open an IBF Portal account.)
What is the difference between an IBF Portal Account and IBF Membership?

IBF membership is only meant for Financial Institutions and the benefits include discounts off fees paid for regulatory exams taken by the Financial Institution’s staff. A fee is charged for IBF membership based on the company’s headcount.

IBF Portal is for any company to submit documents to IBF e.g. training providers who need to submit training programmes for IBF’s review and accreditation; or for Financial Institutions to submit training grant claims for reimbursement. The IBF Portal account is free of charge.

Can I apply for IBF Membership?

Only MAS-licensed financial institutions, exempt entities and relevant industry associations are eligible to apply for the IBF membership.

Do I need to mail hardcopy documents to IBF to apply for membership?

No. Hardcopies of the documents are not required. Please email the scanned copies to [email protected]

How to renew IBF Membership
  1. MR to log on to IBF Portal (only Management Representatives (MRs) or Membership Administrators are authorised to renew membership)

ii) Member Dashboard: Go to “Organisation Profile” section and select “View Membership”.

iii) Click on “Renew Membership Now”.

iv) Update your company staff strength as of 30 September of the current year and click “Next”.

v) View Payment Summary – If all details are correct, please choose your payment method. Click on Submit to complete your renewal.

vi) A copy of the tax invoice will be generated for your reference/record.

How do I apply for IBF membership if I have an existing IBF Portal Account?

i) Select “Apply Membership” after logging in to your existing IBF Portal Account, and submit a new application.

ii) Print a hardcopy of the application form and complete it with your company CEO's signature and company stamp. Email the scanned copy of the completed application form to [email protected]
