IBF Certification is an industry endorsed mark of quality for finance professionals in Singapore. Individuals who have successfully completed eligible IBF-STS accredited assessment programme(s) and meet the relevant criteria may apply for IBF Certification.

The IBF Certification is awarded to practitioners who have attained the required skills for the selected industry segment and function, and are expected to uphold values of professional excellence, integrity and commitment to the industry.

IBF Certification is an industry endorsed mark of quality for finance professionals. Certified individuals may use the professional certification titles IBF Qualified “IBFQ”; or IBF Advanced “IBFA” depending on the level of certification accorded by IBF.

IBF QUALIFIED
IBF QUALIFIED
An individual who is equipped with foundational skills to undertake new roles
- Certified upon successful completion of eligible IBF-STS accredited assessment course(s)* for IBF Certification and attained the required skills for the selected industry segment and function
*Note: IBF-STS accredited Critical Core Skills and Future-Enabled Skills courses will not be considered for IBF Certification. Only technical skills and competencies (TSCs) will be counted towards certification.

IBF ADVANCED (Level 2)
IBF ADVANCED (Level 2)
An individual who has demonstrated applied knowledge and advanced analytical skills for specialist or supervisory functions
- Certified upon successful completion of eligible IBF-STS accredited course(s)* for IBF Certification and attained the required skills for the selected industry segment and function
- 3-15 years of experience
*Note: IBF-STS accredited Critical Core Skills and Future-Enabled Skills courses will not be considered for IBF Certification. Only technical skills and competencies (TSCs) will be counted towards certification.

IBF ADVANCED (Level 3)
IBF ADVANCED (Level 3)
An individual who has demonstrated applied knowledge and advanced analytical skills for specialist or supervisory functions
- Certified upon successful completion of eligible IBF-STS accredited course(s)* for IBF Certification and attained the required skills for the selected industry segment and function
- More than 7 years of experience in selected industry segment
*Note: IBF-STS accredited Critical Core Skills and Future-Enabled Skills courses will not be considered for IBF Certification. Only technical skills and competencies (TSCs) will be counted towards certification.
