The CACS Assessment is applicable to ​private banking professionals (or "Covered Persons") who are in a client-facing role and provide financial advisory services to high net worth individuals.

For more information, please refer to the Private Banking Code of Conduct by the Association of Banks of Singapore (ABS).

The CACS Assessment comprises of 2 papers:
Paper 1: Legislations, Regulations & Industry Codes of Practice
Exam Syllabus:

1. Overview of Wealth Management
2. Private Banking Code of Conduct
3. Client On Boarding Process
4.Client Relationship Management
5.Wealth Transfers and Succession Planning               

Exam Format:

The exam results will be displayed on the computer screens after the exam. Candidate can print their result slips from their IBF Portal account on the next working day.

Exam Fees (Inclusive of GST):

Corporate Members: $446.90
Non-Corporate Members: $534.10

Exemptions:

There are no exemptions to CACS Paper 1 as it is a rules and regulations exam.

Corporate Members: $446.90

    Exemptions:
    From 1st January 2019, CFA Charterholders are exempted from CACS Paper 2.

    Covered Persons will still need to pass CACS Paper 1 to be deemed to have completed the CACS Assessment.
