Biography

Daniel Yow joined Financial Services Managers Association (FSMA) in 2008 as a Committee Member. He was a Co-Chairman for Membership – Welfare and Foundations.

In Term 2009-2010, Daniel was nominated as Honorary Treasurer. He was entrusted to manage the funds for FSMA.

In Term 2010-2011, he was elected as 2nd Vice-President of FSMA. As 2nd Vice President, he oversaw the Education portfolio in FSMA.

Daniel was elected as President of FSMA from 2011 to 2013; a position he held for two consecutive terms of services. During his Presidency, he represented FSMA to speak on the development of financial services managers in the areas of education and manpower expansion with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

In Term 2013-2014, he was the Immediate Past President and assumed an advisory role of guiding the President and the association. 

In Term 2014-2015, as the Executive Adviser. FSMA tapped on Daniel’s years of experience in FSMA and looked to him for advice.

Daniel was elected as Board of Governor (BOG) for Term 2015-2016. BOG is an advisory role and will sit in at monthly management committee meetings.

In 2016-2017, he was re-elected as President of FSMA as he has shown tremendous commitment to FSMA. He served as the Immediate Past President for Term 2017-2018.

Daniel continues to sit as Board of Governor for Term 2018 till today. He holds various key positions in FSMA and remains committed and involved in FSMA. He actively contributes and advises in all management meetings. FSMA greatly values his contributions.
