Biography

Jasmin Ng joined DBS Bank Ltd in April 2009, and is currently Managing Director and Head of Group Consumer Banking Operations (CBGO). She leads the bank’s group retail and wealth management operations across seven markets covering retail deposits, payments, secured and unsecured lending, wealth management and brokerage operations, as well as the consumer banking customer centre operations.

Jasmin believes in developing operations excellence services for DBS consumers and the wealth business. She also drives the digital servicing and operations transformation agenda, which embeds new technology capabilities such as APIs, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Under her leadership, CBGO has won multiple international awards, including Global Contact Centre World’s Best Contact Centre, and Best Technology Internal Solutions awards, and The Banker’s Innovation in Digital Banking Awards for AI and Machine Learning. CBGO also contributed to DBS winning Global Finance’s Most Innovative Bank 2023 in Asia Pacific, and Most Innovative Global Bank 2023.

Jasmin began her career in the clearing house of SIMEX (Singapore International Monetary Exchange) before joining the banking sector and then the financial industry, where she has been for more than 30 years. She has acquired commendable management and banking operations experiences covering corporate and investment banking, consumer, and wealth banking services across the region. From 2016 to 2020, she took on a business role, overseeing Group Cash Product management and development for all DBS markets. She also led and drove several transformational efforts of the business, such as digitising cash management services, customer experience, and commercialisation of the services to corporate and financial institutions across the region.

Jasmin is an active contributor to the finance industry, particularly with the developments in digital payments. In 2018, she served as alternate chairperson for the PayNow Corporate steering committee to implement the corporate PayNow payments and collections, and co-chaired the MAS Payment Council 2.0 Sunsetting Cheques Workstream committee three years later in 2021. She was recently appointed to chair the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) Sunsetting Cheques Workgroup committee.

Jasmin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.
