With 20 years of experience, Helene is highly skilled in change management, client management, and human resources, having worked across various industries such as financial services, telecommunications, engineering, manufacturing, and legal sectors. She has successfully achieved targets ranging from strategic objectives to operational implementation in challenging environments, with a focus on ensuring success for both the organization and its employees.

Before joining KPMG, Helene worked as an HR specialist in companies like Singtel, HSBC, Swiss Re, and Aviva. Additionally, she gained diverse vertical expertise in HR while working in a renowned HR consulting firm.

About the Speaker

Alexa is a Senior Associate Consultant with the Financial Services Advisory team in KPMG Singapore, specialising in Environmental, Social, and Governance Advisory. She has about 3 years of professional experience in the Banking and Finance sector, focusing on Sustainable Finance, and previously in Wealth Planning and Cash and Liquidity Management.

Prior to joining KPMG, Alexa was an ESG Analyst at UBS, where she specialised in Sustainable and Impact Investments. Working alongside various key stakeholders, Alexa managed strategic projects to build and drive Sustainable Finance capability across both Investment Banking and Wealth Management sectors, expanding Sustainable Investment services to High Net Worth, Ultra High Net Worth and Family Office clients, as well as supporting the Investment Bank’s Sustainable Finance deals. Capitalising on her experience, she supported the Research and Talent stream of the MAS-led Private Banking Industry Group (PBIG) an industry-wide working group led by Senior Management members of various Private Banks in Singapore to drive Singapore’s philanthropy capability in the private banking sector.

Alexa holds a BSc (Hons) in International Business from the University of Birmingham and the Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.

About the Speaker

Joshua is the Co-lead for the Green FinTech Enabler Team within The ESG Banking Centre of Excellence and Innovation Consultant with KPMG Digital Village. He has about 4 years of experience with KPMG, and spearheaded the venture creation and launch of KPMG’s ESG Banking COE. Joshua also collaborated with a strategic Big Tech stakeholder to fuel target banks’ ESG transformation agenda under the ESG Transformation @ Digital Go-To-Market Strategy. Joshua is a certified Gallup Strengths Coach and Scrum Product Owner with deep experience facilitating training across key topics of Employee Engagement and Product Management.​

While Joshua built his expertise across various areas including Product Innovation, Digital Transformation, Design Thinking, and Venture Creation, ESG Innovation is something he is mostly passionate about enabling sustainability through innovation. He has enabled the firm to establish its first Green FinTech accelerator – Business Foundry, and is continuously engineering value proposition to enable commercial engagement with green fintech, financial institutions, and other MNCs.
