Company Showcase – Young Talent in Financial Services

A strong pipeline of talent with the right skills and work attitude is essential for the sustained growth and development of a vibrant financial sector.

As the financial industry grows and creates more jobs, Polytechnic and University students and graduates are a valuable talent source to support the industry’s growth. To create meaningful and exciting career pathways for young talent in the sector, the MAS has recently launched the Polytechnic Talent for Finance Scheme (PTFS), setting aside S$8 million over the next three years to support financial institutions offering Internships, Apprenticeships, and Sponsorship opportunities to further studies for polytechnic students / graduates. University students can also participate in Work-Study Degree programmes to gain industry-relevant skills and enhance their employability.

This session will look at how the industry is tapping into this valuable talent resource to expand the overall pipeline of talent in the financial sector and the exciting career pathways for young talent who are keen to be part of this exciting and dynamic sector.
