The new CMFAS Exams will take effect on 1 April 2024, and the new study guides will be made available from 1 February 2024. Candidates who wish to sit for the new CMFAS Exams will be able to register for the new CMFAS Exams from 1 February 2024 through their IBF Portal Account. Please refer to the Public Announcement for further details.

The last day of registration for the current CMFAS Exams will be 24 March 2024, before 12pm. Candidates who do not pass the exams by 25 March 2024, will need to take the new CMFAS Exams from 1 April 2024 onward. 

Candidates taking the current CMFAS Exams are advised to register and sit for the exams early to avoid the risk of not being able to complete your exams by 25 March 2024. For Candidates who are unable to complete the current CMFAS Exams by 25 March 2024 due to exceptional reasons (e.g. medical leave or on compassionate grounds), IBF will refund them the exam fees paid for the current module. Such candidates may then register to take the new module under the new CMFAS Exams at their preferred session.
